The Vets

Seadown Veterinary Group has five partners, who are all practising vets. We meet regularly to discuss improvements and make decisions about the everyday running of the practice.

Meet all of our vets, who have a diverse range of talents and interests, both in and out of work!

The Nurses

Seadown has a strong nursing team who are involved in running nurse clinics, caring for in-patients in the kennels, surgical cases and nurse training.

Seadown is a nurse training practice. Nurse training takes at least two years to complete and nurses learn on the job in addition to attending college on a regular basis. They must complete a demanding portfolio and pass written and practical exams before they obtain their Veterinary Nurse qualification.

Laboratory staff

We are fortunate to have a well equipped laboratory on site, enabling us to provide results quickly. We have an experienced team of lab technicians and nurses who can analyse samples from large and small animals. Specialist tests or complex cases may require external laboratory investigation.

Receptionists and administration

Behind the scenes is a large team of staff answering phone calls and booking appointments, co-ordinating insurance claims and organising everyday running of the practice. We could not manage without them!
